AMA Club #2417

2011 NH Multi-Club R/C Challenge

"Are you GOOD enough?" -  Wally by Golly

What is it?
A multi-club RC flying competition drempt up by Wally Adasczik.

Who's in it?
The 2011 NH Multi-Club R/C Challenge has been accepted by 4 clubs.  Click on the links below to go to their webpages.

bulletSo. NH Radio Control Club - Hudson, NH
bulletSo. NH Flying Eagles - Merrimack, NH
bullet Derry Flying Tigers - Derry, NH - 650' rolled grass runway, and plenty of parking
bulletConcord Skyhawks - Concord, NH

Each member club hosts one event.  Each club drives an entourage to the host club.

Where and When is it?
The 2011 NH Multi-Club R/C Challenge dates are below.  Registration starts at 9AM, Competition at 10AM.

bulletMay 22nd - Hudson, NH
bulletJune 18th - Merrimack, NH
bulletJuly 16th - Concord, NH
bulletSeptember 11th - Derry, NH

Directions to each field can be found on the club websites.  Links are above.

What are the rules?

bulletWe'll fly one or more competitions depending on time and attendance.
bulletThe event will be drawn from a hat.  Once flow, that event is retired for the season, no repeats.
bulletGotta show credentials.  All fields are AMA fields, so pilots must show valid AMA and club membership cards.
bulletThis competition is for fixed wing aircraft.  We love heli's, but the events are targeted for airplanes. Maybe next time..
bulletRide the horse you rode in on.  You get one plane to fly for the day.  This helps balance the field a bit.  That 3D plane might be great for one event, but a trainer the perfect plane for another event.  Choose wisely grasshopper.
bulletBring your packing tape and CA.  Repairs are allowed.
bullet"But now my .60 sized Extra fits in this shoe box?".   A backup plane can be used if the primary plane is beyond repair,  but 10 points will be docked from the team.  Backups are allowed at the Event Coordinators discretion.

What is the scoring?

bulletTEAMS are awarded points, not individuals.
bulletParticipation is awarded.   Show up with pilots:  good, bad, ugly, or on a buddy box we don't care... get points.  More pilots more points.  We're trying to make this inclusive.  So show up dammit!
bulletHere's a link to the scoring spreadsheet.
