Meeting called to order at 7:32pm by Jay Francis
Approximately 20 members present.
New Members/ Visitors: Dick Dussault and Steve Lewis introduced
themselves as guests.
Officers Reports
President : Jay Francis
Field trip tonight to see Mr. Scarboro’s (sp?) WW I full scale, home built
airplane.
Field cleanup next dry Sunday at 8AM.
Gate was found not on the peg.
Eagles’ Cup this Sunday (Mother’s Day)
VP : Dave Beach
Showed new flier for “Fly Like an Eagle” promotion.
Showed club “SNHFE business cards” that will be available to club members at
the next meeting.
Next meeting is at the field.
No followup on public access video. More to come.
Treasurer : Jim Austin
Absent. Report Emailed in and read by Jay Francis.
Treasury reported. 75 members for 2005.
Secretary : Dave Majchrzak
4th of July. We will use the Currier’s trailer again. Gary to pull the
float. Setup on July 3rd evening in my driveway.
Field Marshall: Gary Aubin Absent.
Safety Officer: Chris Frost Absent.
Newsletter Editor : Bruce Gruenbaum Absent.
Old Business
Dave M. was reminded to follow up with Frank P. on club jackets and road
repair.
New Business
Float Fly (Joel C.)
Submitted budget in writing to Jay Francis.
Date is Sept 16-18th
Joel will fill out insurance paperwork
Float Fly (Jay F.)
Asked if there was any interest in combining Float Fly event with CAGS. Most of
the feedback suggested that we keep ours a separate event – allows fliers
options to go to one or both.
