SNHFE Meeting Minutes: August 1, 2004

Meeting Called to order at 12:07 by Bruce Gruenbaum.

Today’s attendance is 12 members.

New members/ guests: --.

Officer Reports:

President Bruce Gruenbaum:

- Container – Container to be replaced on Aug 10th. Please come down and help.

- Weld a box onto new container for the first aid kit.

- Locks - $5.00 refundable deposit for key. We will replace keys if a new lock is needed.

- Mastercraft lock – may be able to get $500 back from them for using their lock.

Bruce to write to the lock company. Vote and unanimous. Emergency key in the container.

- Next meeting at St James – Program is attaching floats

VP Dave Beach:

- Requested Jim Austin to get instructor hats.

Treasurer Jim Austin:

- Jim reported financials to members present.

- 90 members for 2004

- Porta-Potty increase to $82.25

Secretary Dave Majchrzak: Absent.

Field Marshall Gary Aubin:

- Gate has been fixed. Carry the gate back when you open it. It flops down.

Safety Officer Chris Frost:

- Please fly from the Pilots box.

Newsletter Editor Mark Devins:

- No report.

Old business:

- Frank Philips will talk to town about paving the road.

New business:

- Toys for tots – Jerry was going to organize. 2nd week in October. Frank to call Jerry and organize it.

- Dave B. asked club to send thank you to Virgil Hernandez for club trainer and radio. Dave M. to write letter.
