SNH Flying Eagles: August 07, 2005 Club Meeting

Meeting called to order at 12:00pm by Dave Majchrzak

Approximately 11 members present.

New Members/ Visitors:  Steve Lewis & Dick Dussault.

 Officers Reports

President : Jay Francis : Absent : Jay’s report read by Dave Majchrzak

-         Revised membership applications were passed out to the club.  The only change from the existing application is spelling out the exact date for renewal.  The goal for the data changes was to have a more accurate membership count before coming up with the annual budget.  The new applications should make it clear how much people need to pay.

-         Joel C’s Float Fly report: Sanction papers have arrived from the AMA.  Our permit to use the Greenfield Park is also in.  All we have to do now is fax our insurance certificate to Concord.

-         Norm E’s Aviation Heritage Festival report:  Norm has verbal assurance from Bob Langlois, AMA Asst. VP that AMA will reimburse the $150 table fee, based on our promoting AMA membership at the event.  Bob has also volunteered to man the table for the full schedule.  Norm has submitted the appl. To Daniel Webster College and we’re all set with a table.  Let Norm know if you can help out for an hour or two.

-         Club picnic is set for August 21st at noon.  Contact Jay with questions or to offer help.

VP : David Beach : Absent.  David’s item brought forth by Dave Majchrzak

-         The Toys for Tots date needs to be finalized this week to make the AMA magazine.

Treasurer : Jim Austin : Absent

-         No report

Secretary : Dave Majchrzak

-         The insurance certificate for the float fly has been received and will be passed on to Joel C.

Field Marshall: Gary Aubin

-         There will be a field cleanup 1st or 2nd Sunday in October.

-         The club could use a gas trimmer if anybody has an old one they can donate.

-         The back fence has one broken post. Please be careful.

-         Thanks again to Dick Stuke for the lawn mowing.

Safety Officer: Chris Frost

-         No complaints.

Newsletter Editor : Michael/Bruce Gruenbaum  : Absent

-         No report

Old Business

-         The condition of the access road continues to deteriorate.  The town is responsible for its upkeep.

New Business

Meeting adjourned at 12:25pm.
