SNHFE Meeting Minutes: Dec 3, 2003

 Meeting Called to order at 7:45 by Jim Austin.  

Today’s attendance is about 18 members.

New members/ guests: None.

Officer Reports:

President: Frank Phillips:  absent

VP: Jim Burns: absent

Treasurer: Jim Austin: Treasury reported. 120 members. 120 gallons of fuel sold to date.  It’s time to renew your AMA and club memberships.  2 Large red SNHFE t-shirts are available for $5 each.

Secretary: Dave Majchrzak:  Both JR buddy boxes are back in action.  Member mentioned that the second JR cable is missing though.

Field Marshall:  Duane was absent. 

Safety:  Dave Beach: No safety issues.  Only heli fuel left in container. There are some crash parts left in the container (servo, gear).

Newsletter Editor: Mark Devins: No report.

Old business

bulletMerrimack High School FIRST program:  SNHFE club may donate an RC transmitter (75Mhz) to this program that promotes technology in schools.  This has not been done yet.
bulletNovember meeting minutes were accepted as written.

New business:

bulletOfficer nominations will occur in the January meeting with voting occurring at the February ‘04 meeting.  As of now, there are no candidates for President or VP.  Member mentioned that vacating officers have helped recruit replacements in the past.
bulletClub banquet:  In addition to last months suggestions, Joe Marrone collected banquet info from the Ground Round.  Per plate and buffet options were available.  Banquet is tentatively scheduled for January 18th.  No action was taken at this meeting.  Location is still undetermined.
bulletJoe Marrone made a motion that if the banquet room had a fee, the club was authorized to pay upto $100 for the room fee from the treasury.  Motion was seconded and passed with a show of hands.
bulletDave Beach will CD Frozen Fingers Fun Fly.  Scheduled for Jan 11th with a ‘bad weather’ date of the 18th.  Bob LaCroix volunteered to cook for the event.
bulletNew stove: Brian Henderson is working on it.  He’ll also help move old one to the dump.
bulletBob Sylvester is still selling some RC planes/equipment for Mike Roberts.

Meeting ended at 8:10.  On to the Yankee swap!
