Minutes of July 1, 2001 Meeting

  The meeting was called to order at 12:00 by Jim Burns.

Two guests introduced themselves.

Treasurer’s Report

Treasury has about $4000, with about 104 paid members.

Field Marshall Report

Al asked for volunteers to sign up for mowing the field on specific dates.  He is planning on more work to fix up the frequency board and some more painting.

Newsletter Editor

Dave asked for members who change their email address to update their own information for the club email list at groups.yahoo.com.

Safety Officer

Good news, no reports of any accidents

Vice-President’s report

Jim described how the club by-laws and rules are being revised.  He asked for inputs on the proposed revisions.  We discussed suggestions from several members.  We discussed some proposals regarding enforcing the safety rules.

Other Business

Joe went over the 4^th of July parade and flying demo plans.

The private auction of Ollie’s and other equipment will be July 8th.

Gremlin contest at the field July 29^th.

The meeting adjourned at 12:30.
