SNHFE Meeting Minutes: June 6, 2004
Meeting Called to order at 12:00 by Bruce Gruenbaum. Today’s attendance is about 17 members. New members/ guests: --. Officer Reports: President Bruce Gruenbaum: - Congratulations to Mark Devins who’s wife had a baby. - Container – Will replace the container. Will not fix on site. Buy a new one for 2400 or negotiate down to 500 for existing. - Field Marshall resignation – Nominations for a new field marshall. Election next month. Nomination – Chris Frost. VP Dave Beach: - Nothing to report. Treasurer Jim Austin: - Absent. Bruce reported financials to members present. Secretary Dave Majchrzak: - Handling 4th of July Parade with Jerry Leach. Field Marshall Bill Bootle: - Mower – blades have broken. We need to replace the blades and belts - Gremlin kit and north eastern float for sale Safety Officer Chris Frost: - Field etiquette. Taxiing in the pits, not flying from the pilots station, planes getting away in the pits. Announcing intentions. Helicopters and flying on the field. Newsletter Editor Mark Devins: - Absent. Old business: - Frank to meet with the town about flying site. New business: - July 4th Parade– Need a parade float vehicle. Frank to talk to brother about possibly using his truck. Currier trailer to be used if his brothers truck is not used. Dave Beach volunteered to pull float with his SUV. Need help with setup on evening of July 3rd and at Zyla’s on July 4th. Consider lending planes to attach to float. Parade starts at 1:00pm. We also need people to walk with and help with tear down the float. Flight demo at 5:00pm at Mastricola Middle School ball field - SNHFE Leader Club Plaque has been displayed in RC Buyers - Next club meeting July 11th – 11:30. - Thanks for trainer – 2 complete trainers and one extra. Bruce to get wall charger down to field. End of meeting.
