From the floor:

? Field needs to be mowed. Has been growing very fast with

rain quantity. Mower belt went last week. Belt/bearing

‘squeaks’, needs to be addressed. Bill Bootle will bring some

grease. Should investigate mulch kit for mower. Thanks to

mystery mower/ chain-link-fence guy.

? Request for leveling the field. Issue is field will be out-of-service

for a while while grass grows. Possible issue with

flooding. O’Keefe did quote the club on leveling the field many

years ago. Marston matting suggested as one alternative.

Saugus 107 th has artificial turf. Arthur O’Connor volunteered

to head committee on field leveling. Current field is 500’ long.

Filling dips is probably cheapest.

? Access road needs serious help. We’re

hoping Town will work on it due to Boat

Ramp work. Frank will call town again

about access road maintenance. We

shouldn’t spend our money to fix the town

road. Dick Hinch has been contacted.

? Porta-potty is in current place so it doesn’t

float away.

? Can possibly use Toys-for-Tots event as

an excuse to get Town moving on access

road.

? Frequency problem reported at the field.

Channel 49 was problematic. Joel

Chappell has been contacted.

Old business
